It is believed that as soon as women visit this temple and receive the blessings of the goddess, their homes are filled with the joyous cries of a newborn. These beliefs related to Goddess Simsa have been passed down for generations, which is why many women come here with faith and devotion.

This temple, known as "Santan Daatri" (the giver of children), hosts a special festival during Navratri called "Salindra," which means "dream." It is believed that when women sleep on the floor during this festival, they soon receive good news. Devotees believe that the goddess herself appears in their dreams to bless them, which is considered a divine sign.

It is said that if a woman dreams of receiving a root vegetable or fruit, it signifies that she has been blessed. According to belief, seeing a guava in a dream indicates the birth of a boy, while seeing okra (ladyfinger) symbolizes the birth of a girl. However, if the dream includes objects made of metal, wood, or stone, it is believed to indicate childlessness.
